1971 Bath Girls started their first Track & Field Team
These were the first events:
High Jump, Long Jump, Softball Throw, 880 Medley Relay, 80 yd Hurdles, 100 yd Dash, 220 yd Dash, 440 yard Run, 880 yd Run, Mile and the 440 yd Relay
We had new cotton sweats and wore our gym uniforms for meets!

First League Meet with Four Events
880 yd Medley, 100 yd dash, 440 yd Run, 440 yd Relay
Bath Girls took 2nd Place in the Meet
Winning the 880 yd Medley Relay,
Laurel Vietzke took 2nd in the 80 yd Hurdles
Kathy Brown took 2nd in the 440 yd Run
Bath took 5th in 440 yd Relay
